Make Your Meetings Pop

Fresh new event décor is sometimes really hard to come up with for an annual meeting. It can be challenging to surprise attendees and ensure a memorable experience. Here are some ideas that should help. Incorporate the season, work it into the décor and bring a room alive with natural elements. If it is winter create a winter wonderland using bare branches, lighting and pinecones. If it is spring, summer or fall, create a farmers market using vibrantly colored fresh fruit, wildflowers and vegetables. Perhaps a park-like theme with fresh greenery, floral and park settings would be a good idea to try.

The buzz words right now are organic, recycling, green and farm-to-table which are all great terms to work toward a meeting theme. With this type of theme it is okay to reuse items like vessels, tables and fabrics. It can look very eclectic.

Lighting is still the rage and relatively inexpensive to make a big impression. If you are renting napkins, rent them in the trend colors of the season; this makes the room feel fresh and in season. If you are doing a tried and true theme, refresh the color palette to add a unique twist. Use graphic geometric patterns in the linens and lighting.

Do not be opposed to working with a third party event company. In many cases there are cost savings because they already have a large inventory of props that are less costly to rent then to purchase them.

My stay was delightful and very relaxing and staff were very welcoming. Thanks for everything.
